Dr. Janez Mulec received an award from the Slovenian Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief

Dr. Janez Mulec, a colleague from the Karst Research Institute ZRC SAZU, received recognition from the Commander of the Regional Civil Protection Headquarters for Notranjska, Sandi Curk, on December 3, 2024, at an extended session of the Regional Civil Protection Headquarters. He was awarded the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief recognition for his work in the protection and rescue system, with special emphasis on the activities carried out following the slurry spill from the Žgajnar farm, which occurred on February 18, 2024.

Gratitude and recognition also go to the other colleagues from the Institute who quickly and effectively cooperated with representatives of state institutions during this and other events.
