Coupling surface and groundwater processes in karst hydrogeology

Description

Bilateral linkage of previous work and experience will improve existing methods for evaluating the mechanism of water infiltration in karst aquifers and process-oriented karst model applications. An added value of this collaboration will be to open an opportunity to establish a lasting link between GET, but also more generally the entire French karst community and the KRI, a historic and major European player in karst hydrogeology. Within the proposed bilateral cooperation project, the authors will make complementary use of different research methods and, through joint work, exchange existing knowledge and encourage young researchers to address various problems associated with the water infiltration mechanisms.
