Description


Within this project, speleogenesis during phreatic-vadose transition through numerical modelling is investigated. Modelling of this stage of speleogenesis is underdeveloped compared to earlier stages because the models have to deal with free water surface. Temporal changes in water flows also appear to be more important in the later stages of speleogenesis because they cause oscillations of water level.
