    • TERRESTRIAL LASER 3D SCANNER

The Karst Research Institute ZRC SAZU - the national coordinator of the EPOS-SI consortium and also of the RI-SI-EPOS project, acquired a terrestrial laser 3D scanner in February 2020. We already learned about its use and also tested it in the field.
    • GNSS ANTENNA

The Karst Research Institute ZRC SAZU - the national coordinator of the EPOS-SI consortium and also of the RI-SI-EPOS project, acquired a GNSS receiver with an external geodetic antenna for the caves in February 2020.
    • PORTABLE SEISMIC STATIONS

Within RI-SI-EPOS project partners are purchasing scientific equipment for study and collection of scientific data from the field of geoscience. In March 2020 ZRC SAZU acquired six portable seismic stations that will be installed on tectonically active area of Postojna, Pivka and Ilirska Bistrica.
    • EXTENSIOMETERS TM72 - automatic monitoring of micro-displacements

Within RI-SI-EPOS project partners are purchasing scientific equipment for study and collection of scientific data from the field of geoscience. In March 2020 we acquired five extensiometers TM72. Four are located along tectonic faults in Postojna cave and one in Kostanjevica cave.
    • MICRO-CLIMATIC MONITORING IN KARST CAVES – AIR TEMPERATURE AND AIR PRESSURE MONITORING

Within RI-SI-EPOS project ZRC SAZU installed two divers for hourly measurements of air temperature and air pressure in Kostanjevica Cave. Monitoring is going on since 16 January 2020. First monitoring location is near cave entrance, second location is in Kapniška Dvorana near extensiometers TM72.
    • GRAVIMETER

The Karst Research Institute ZRC SAZU - the national coordinator of the EPOS-SI consortium and also of the RI-SI-EPOS project, acquired a gravimeter in April 2020.
    • DRONE FOR STRUCTURAL-GEOLOGICAL AND GEOMOPHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE SURFACE

The Karst Research Institute ZRC SAZU - the national coordinator of the EPOS-SI consortium and also of the RI-SI-EPOS project, acquired a drone in June 2020.
